EMBASSY AND PERMANENT MISSION OF SIERRA LEONE, GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
EVENT: REVIEWING SIERRA LEONE HUMAN RIGHTS RECORD
WHAT/WHERE: Sierra Leone’s human rights record will be reviewed for the third time by the United Nations under the Universal Periodic Review mechanism of the Human Rights Council. The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United Nations Office in Geneva and a high-level delegation from Freetown will participate via zoom during the review on Wednesday 12th May 2021 at the United Nations Assembly Hall in Geneva, Switzerland.
WHO: Honourable Anthony Brewah, the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice; His Excellency Professor David John Francis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation; Honourable Mohamed Rahaman Swaray, the Minister of information and Communications; Honourable Manty Tarawalli, the Minister of Gender and Children's Affairs; among others have consented to graciously join Ambassador Dr. Lansana Gberie and Deputy Ambassador Saffa Esq. to highlight the advancement made by Sierra Leone in promoting, protecting and respecting human rights in Sierra Leone.
